Process To Create a Portrait:
The first step to create your beautiful custom image will be a planning session to decide the location and mood for your portrait. This will be followed by a photography shoot, where Judy will take several photographic images using various poses and angles which will be sorted and combined to develop the initial pose. Your approval is essential at this point to proceed. At this time the painting and creative process begins, your custom image will be given the special touch of the artist. When your painting is complete, it will be transferred to an electronic transfer process and commercially printed on archival 90 pound cold press watercolor paper. By having your image printed with a professional process, Horn Graphics is able to offer you multiple duplicate images, perhaps you would like one a bit smaller for grandparents, or greeting cards for an upcoming graduation or Christmas. Portraits may also be developed from existing photographs, that wonderfully cute baby picture of long ago, or a photograph depicting a magical moment.

When your completed portrait returns from the printer, it will be framed with gallery quality archival material. Images will be framed with a coordinating mat, a high quality wooden frame of your choice with a matching fillet, glass and a protective dust cover on the back. Your portrait will be delivered to you ready to hang on your wall to add a personal touch of fine art to your home and be admired by your family and guests.
