Every couple of centuries a new art form emerges to answer the
needs of human creativity. With extensive experience in
photography and painting, Ray and Judy Horn are able to create
portraits with photographic likenesses that are true pieces of
fine art. By hand working each image, their clients receive the
highest quality in their one-of-a-kind custom portraits. |

Judy Horn is an award-winning artist/photographer in Ocean Shores,
Washington. As a high school graduate, she enrolled in the fine
art department of the University of Washington and began her
formal training. Later training continued at Weber State
University in Ogden, Utah. It was in Ogden that Judy
experimented with combining technology with her traditional
work. She began to incorporate the electronic element as a
component to her completed images. Horn’s unique process has
been developed over many years and combines the use of
technology and photography with her traditional skills in oil
and watercolor painting.
Ray Horn excels in technical photography. He has been behind a
camera lens and in the dark room since he was thirteen years
old. Ray likes to experiment with unusual techniques and
processes. He too has won many awards for his outstanding work.
His accomplishments in the dark room have very beneficial now
that he has changed the direction of Horn Fine Art Imaging to be
completely digital. They are able to photograph, process and
print completely in-house, giving them total control of the
quality of output. Ray has taught “total quality management” for
several years and incorporates these philosophies into the
operation of the company.
Both Ray and Judy are available to teach workshops and classes.
Judy’s emphasis is painting techniques, composition and color.
Ray teaches business related courses such as: goal setting,
quality management, human resources, desktop management (office
desktops, not computer desktops, how to arrange your workspace)
and presentation skills. For scheduling a workshop, contact them
at 360 589 5145. |
