Judy Horn is an award winning artist who lives in NE
Tacoma, Washington. After high school, she enrolled in the Fine Arts School at the University of Washington and began her intensive formal training. Later, training continued at Weber State college in Ogden Utah. It was at Weber State that Judy discovered the computer as an art tool and began using the electronic element as a component for her completed images. Horn's unique process has been developed over several years and combines the uses of technology and photography with her traditional skills in watercolor and oil
painting. |

Judy is able to capture the heart of her subjects in her wonderful portraits, whether it is a child gazing out over the sea or a puppy ready to dive into a world of mischief. Her work is the culmination of many years of study and the development of a keen sense of artistic creation. As well as creating portraits, her fine art pieces are exhibited in galleries and her portfolio includes photograph restoration. She is able to repair torn and faded images, and combine photographs while retaining the photograph's original condition.
